Pope Francis’ post-synodal apostolic exhortation Amoris Laetitia, published on April 8, 2016, was a “breakthrough” for the Church. This was stated by Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, 81, of Vienna, who had presented the document at the Vatican ten years ago, in an interview with Kathpress.at on March 30. In a footnote, Francis "allowed" adulterers to grab Holy Communion using the case-by-case trick. Cardinal Schönborn commented: "That Pope Francis addressed the question of whether divorced and remarried persons may receive Communion only in a small footnote deeply moved me personally." “When I take the document from my bookshelf or even just think about it, it still brings me to tears,” he added. For many people in the Church - and for him personally - the document represented a “huge sigh of relief.” The reason, he explained, is that Francis speaks “about real life.” Families in “difficult” situations should not be constrained or judged according to "rigid criteria". “They have stolen my harvest and taken everything from us they’ve left us with absolutely nothing. They’ve destroyed our identity.” A Palestinian grandfather cries after Zionist settlers destroyed his olive groves and stole the olives in Tulkarem (West Bank).
The cancellation of the second World Children’s Day follows another decision made in February that brought a structural change by placing the initiative under the integrated management of the Roman Curia. Leo XIV dissolved the Pontifical Commission for World Children’s Day, a body created in 2024 by his predecessor, Pope Francis, for organizational matters. As a result, the president, vice president, and all members of the body — including Father Enzo Fortunato, who had served as president of the committee — automatically ceased their functions.
Dr. Simon Goddek @goddek MEANWHILE IN GERMANY: Former FDP MP and Israel lobbyist Hartmut Ebbing was caught with child sexual abuse videos. He asked the court for a secret trial to protect the German-Israeli Society (DIG), where he was treasurer. The court agreed. He got a suspended sentence. Later convicted of abusing a 7-year-old. Only then did he resign, after nearly a year managing DIG funds, including German taxpayer money. Both FDP and DIG claimed they “knew nothing.”
You Missed This in the Passion The Passion of Christ, as recounted in the Gospels, reveals the necessity of Jesus’ crucifixion for the fulfillment of scripture and the salvation of humanity. While various motives drove the actions of those involved, the deeper truth lies in God’s plan of redemption and the opening of heaven to all through Jesus’ sacrifice. By focusing on God’s intention and the divine aspect of the Passion, we can find hope and understanding beyond the human perspective. Fr. On March 28, a Lenten pilgrimage organized by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X (FSSPX) was denied entry to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sorrows in Cuceglio, near Turin, Italy. Despite being announced in advance, the church doors remained closed to the group, which included priests, religious sisters, and families who had walked several kilometers in devotion. The pilgrims had planned no Mass or formal liturgy - only a few concluding prayers. According to the local newspaper La Voce, the decision to close the gates to the pilgrims was made by the rector of the sanctuary, Don Luca Meinardi, and by Bishop Daniele Salera of Ivrea. The newspaper comments: "A choice that inevitably contradicts an ecclesiastical vocabulary which, in recent years, has emphasized words like welcome, inclusion, dialogue, and mercy." #newsSuicuzlbcj
Goku @ProjectGokuu Dr. Roger Seheult just revealed one of the biggest studies on sunlight. A massive Swedish study followed 30,000 women for over 20 years and found that those who actively sought sun exposure had dramatically lower death rates from cancer, heart disease, and all causes. The shocking part? Sun avoiders had roughly double the overall mortality. Even heavy smokers who got plenty of sun had similar death rates to non-smokers who avoided it. Sunlight appears to extend life through vitamin D, nitric oxide, and immune support - yet we're still told to hide from it. Are you getting enough sun? — Dr. Roger Seheult (@RogerSeheult) on Steven Bartlett’s (@StevenBartlett) DOAC podcast
Just another bone. How about you get rid of the satanist in our schools? How about stopping them from teaching children about it after school? How about kicking them out or banning them in the US as Russia has done. How about putting strict laws like Russia has on gays ? NO? Nor will you see anything of significance like that be done. Just a few bones here and there. And such tiny bones no less.
On Palm Sunday, Leo XIV used again a ferula that features a risen Christ leaving the cross. He has used it since 6 January 2026. On 9 January, the Office for the Liturgical Celebrations told VaticanNews.va that the cross "unites the mission of proclaiming the mystery of Christ on the cross with the glorious manifestation of the resurrection". The ferula "presents Christ no longer bound by the nails of the Passion, but with his glorified body", according to the papal office. And: "The Paschal Mystery thus becomes a source of hope for humanity because death no longer has any power over mankind since Christ redeemed everything he assumed." #newsBcyvklvfjo
This ferula is inconsistent with the truth of the Gospel. Jesus resurrected out of the tomb, not off of the cross. On the cross he was absolutely, completely and utterly, dead. His crucifixion and death was the most through and through complete offering of His whole Self for us to God. It is the most awful and beautiful expression of love in the entire universe, and a continuing challenge to us who claim to 'love' like Him! Why shrink from showing His beautiful death to the whole world?

It's funny and not funny talking to gorilla's on a tv screen. Poor old guy needs a really long rest. That way he can reflect on all his very, very serious sins he has committed and still doing. Repent and hopefully convert.

Diana Panchenko @Panchenko_X Ukrainian elite doesn’t want the war to stop. Simple example: A small-town customs officer lives in a $1'000'000 house, owns 4 cars, and keeps $250'000 cash at home (per his declaration). At 32 he “got disabled,” now collects a pension and vacations at resorts - all on American and European taxpayers’ money. M'while, ordinary Ukrainians are snatched off the streets like animals. The Book of Amos Explained | God Hates Empty Worship? | Call for Injustice | Catechism for Kids The Book of Amos is one of the most powerful and challenging books in the Bible. Amos was a simple shepherd, yet God called him to deliver a bold message to the people of Israel. “Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!” (Amos 5:24) His message was clear: God rejects empty worship He condemns injustice and oppression He calls His people to live with true righteousness Amos teaches us: Faith is not just about rituals — it must transform how we live God cares deeply about the poor, the weak, and the oppressed True worship is shown through justice, mercy, and integrity The Book of Amos reminds us that God is not impressed by outward religion… He desires a heart that lives rightly. Lord, help us live our faith with truth and justice. Hashtags St Joseph's Corner
