"Fun Church" in Holy Week: Fr. Simon Teller, O.P., published a video on March 29 about the different ways people use palms on Palm Sunday. The examples include the deconstructionist, the artist, the hoarder, the tickler, the sword fighter, and the panda mode. Fr. Teller is a chaplain at Providence College in the United States.

Think about that. Iran hides nothing while Israel and bibi not only hide what's going on there, but people are jailed for posting online. Iran has not hid anything from anyone so far. Which tells me, they are more trustworthy than both trump and bibi.

Often locals after the Reformation used the monastic buildings for storing grain and housing livestock, transforming the monasteries into farm buildings. That was partially the case here at Kirkstall but most remarkable is the conversation of the nave into a road. The main road was diverted through the nave of the abbey church following the dissolution of the monasteries in 1539 to stop the monks from returning. Hence, until the 19th century, the road from Leeds to Skipton ran right through the nave! | Great British Architecture The original Abbey Road? Did you know that after the Macron "Rothschild" Olympics' blasphemous re-enactment of the Last Supper, the first country to defend Christianity and condemn it was Iran? It was not the USA, Britain, Italy, or Israel. In Tehran a billboard went up, with these words: "Indeed, the Messiah, Jesus Christ, Son of Mary, is a messenger of God." Did you know that after the Macron "Rothschild" …
This post is about standing up for Christ. Keep it that way please. Just because no one else defended Our Lord as Iran did, and as quickly as they did, you shouldn't take the good they did for Our Lord and twist it. There are no alternatives. It is a post on how one country we are told is evil was the first to defend GOD! Try to be thankful at least that GOD was pleased with it. Which I am sure he was. Going out of their way to post a huge billboard to defend Him. Did Poland do the same? I would love to see them. V.R.S.Polish conservative leader condemns Paris …

A whole series of faded dreams has come to naught—who still believes today in a “made in the USA” shield? Virtually all American military bases in the Persian Gulf, which were intended to act as a deterrent by their mere presence, now instill fear in the soldiers fleeing from them. In Iraq, the U.S. Embassy has ordered all its citizens to leave this country, which has been occupied for 23 years, and warned them not to approach the military bases, the embassy building (the largest U.S. embassy in the world), or the consulate under any circumstances. According to estimates, the U.S. provided Iraq with between $12 billion and $40 billion after 2003. Of course, this was primarily to exploit Iraq’s oil …
Iraq oil revenues are (were) directly deposited in a bank in New York. The Iraqi government then has to itemize needs in the government to pay for its services. To get money back. Looks like that will be over soon.
Pope Leo XIV has carried out a reshuffle at the Roman Curia, confirming weeks of leaks and speculation in the Italian media. He has reappointed careerists to different posts, but has once again failed to appoint a distinct Catholic. At the centre of the changes is Archbishop Edgar Peña Parra, who is leaving his influential role as Substitute for General Affairs — effectively the 'No. 2' in the Secretariat of State. He has been accused of being homosexual. Leo XIV has appointed him as Apostolic Nuncio to Italy and San Marino. This places him in one of the Holy See's most sensitive diplomatic roles, given the unique relationship between Italy and the Vatican. Monsignor Paolo Rudelli succeeded him as Sostituto. He was the Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe from 2014 to 2019 and most recently served as Nuncio to Colombia. His appointment also signals continuity in diplomatic appointments at the heart of Vatican governance. Furthermore, Archbishop Petar Rajić, until now the …Көбірек

By now nearly everyone knows about this scandal and we have not heard a sound Catholic reaction from any high ranking clerics of our Church. Instead it is as if we have omertà ruling rather than Truth.
On 24 March, a court in Privas, France, delivered its verdict in the case of Father Bernard Domini and the Catholic community Famille Missionnaire de Notre Dame (FMND). The case raises wider questions about religious freedom and new legal standards in France. Following a two-year investigation, the case centred on allegations of "abuse of vulnerability" and 2psychological subjection" brought by five former members of the community. The community has approximately 160 members. The charges did not involve allegations of sexual abuse, physical violence or financial misconduct, but instead focused on the community's internal practices and discipline. In its ruling, the court issued ten decisions, resulting in seven acquittals and three convictions. Father Bernard was convicted on one count and acquitted on four others, while the FMND was convicted on two counts. The punishments handed down were relatively lenient: a six-month suspended sentence for Father Bernard and a €25,000 fine for the …Көбірек

Check out how far we have got with Fr Coleridge’s The Life of our Life series. Our Lord Jesus Christ approaches the moment for which he was born as a triumphant Conqueror over his prostrate foes. As we enter into Holy Week, and approach the Sacred Triduum, Fr Coleridge considers Our Lord’s entrance into his Passion. Our Lord was now approaching the moments for which he was born into this world. We have already considered how, on Palm Sunday, Our Lord casts aside some of the reserve he had previously maintained with regard to be acclaimed as King. This same casting aside is present throughout this final week of his pre-Resurrection life. The presentation given to us by the Gospels is not of a man approaching his doom, but of a Conqueror about to trample down his enemies. As a further aid for meditation, The WM Review, Father …
