Are there no true artists in the Church anymore? Must we be inundated always and forever with these garbage images that hold not a microcosm of the Church’s beauty and beliefs, nor the regal majesty of the Papal Office?
– Folha de S. Paulo, August 7, 1968 – by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira “Aggiornamento” and “encounter with history” are expressions we run into all the time, but whose concept remains obscure more often than not. However, one core idea is always clear within this obscurity: being “up to date.” A self-respecting “up-to-date” person thinks they know present-day reality and are in sync with it. The “encounter with history” is an encounter with the present, particularly what the present offers that is different and contradictory to the past. For the fanatics of “aggiornamento” and “encounter with history,” the word “tradition” gets a bad rap. For conscious or unconscious evolutionists, nature has no fixed and immutable elements, nor does the natural order rest on perennial principles. The present’s position concerning the past is not one of dynamic and improving continuity, but complete negation, all-encompassing rupture, and integral and renewing demolition. So, it is understandable that for …Hafa
French Church Vandalised, Nothing Stolen: On 5 July, Saint-Étienne Church in Mulhouse, eastern France, was vandalised. A man entered the church, went straight to the sanctuary, removed the cross from the altar and threw it to the floor. He then knocked over a vase and used the cross to force open the doors of three confessionals, some dating back to the early 19th century. Nothing was stolen; the damage was confined to religious furnishings and symbols.
Cardinal Timothy Radcliffe spoke to AdVaticanum.com on July 4 about his participation in a London Eucharist at Holy Apostles Church including a liturgical blessing for a homosexual couple. The interview is obvious gaslighting, not to say blatant lying, given that the livestream had been published on YouTube. The event was held on June 13 to mark the 50-year homosexual partnership of Julian Filochowski and Martin Pendergast, two longstanding figures in "pastoral outreach" to homosexual Catholics. The principal celebrant was Fr. Jim O'Keefe, with concelebrants including Bishop John Crowley, emeritus of Middlesbrough, and Bishop John Rawsthorne, emeritus of Hallam. "I gave no blessing to anyone" Cardinal Radcliffe claimed: "I gave no blessing to anyone and had not been aware that any blessings would be given." However, the picture above shows him making the sign of the cross during the blessing of the two homosexuals standing side by side like a married couple. The text was based on a …Hafa
More than 150 people from Spain, Italy, the United States, South Africa, Guyana, and Taiwan attended the apostate and sacrilegious event. The principal celebrant was Father Jim O'Keefe, and the concelebrants included Radcliffe, two English bishops—John Crowley of Middlesbrough and John Rawsthorne of Hallam (both apostates)—as well as the apostate Canon Chris Vipers, from the parish.
On 5 July, the animal rights organisation PETA staged a blasphemous demonstration in Pamplona. The protest featured a man portraying Jesus Christ wearing a crown of thorns, surrounded by activists in bikinis covered in red paint, to oppose bullfighting and urge the Catholic Church to condemn the practice.
A Papal Handshake, a Cathedral Fire, and a Murder: On July 4 in Lampedusa, Leo XIV shook the hands of 20 illegal immigrants who had just arrived in Europe. He reminded everyone that all human life carries immeasurable worth. One of his predecessor’s handshakes later took on a dark meaning. In 2016, Pope Francis shook hands with Rwandan national Emmanuel Abayisenga. In 2020, Abayisenga set fire to the 15th-century Nantes cathedral in France. In 2021, he murdered the priest who had taken him in and sheltered him after the fire.
Papst Leo schüttelte bei seinem Besuch auf Lampedusa am 4. Juli jedem dieser 20 Migranten, die gerade in Europa angekommen waren, die Hand.

The EU in 2027 will spend $0.8 trillion on education and $1.26 trillion on health, while Net Zero will cost $3.3 trillion In his ARC 2026 keynote, Bjorn Lomborg explained the ways in which current climate policies are driving up energy prices and reducing the availability of energy, costing us huge amounts of money while having little to no impact on tackling climate change. He calls for a change in mindset, to pursue the energy abundance that leads to economic growth and technological innovation — which will ultimately help us solve the problem of climate change.
Today, the General Secretariat of the Synod issued the preparatory framework for the October 7–14 meeting on the implementation of Amoris Laetitia between Pope Leo XIV and the presidents of the bishops' conferences. The gathering marks the tenth anniversary of Amoris Laetitia. The format is described as "synodal," involving a process of listening, prayer, and discernment. The aim is "to discern the direction in which the Holy Spirit is leading us today." The five discussion themes are: • Families today: reality, beauty and challenges • Young people and the discovery of the vocation to marriage (including cohabiting couples) • Married life: the first years of marriage—a decisive time • In the difficulties of life: accompanying and supporting • Christian families as subjects of the Church's mission The fourth theme speaks of “failure” and the “gap between the ideal and reality.” It says those who “have experienced separation and divorce” should feel listened to, involved, and co-responsible …Hafa
Bishop Fredrik Hansen of Oslo, Norway, issued a July 3 statement following the episcopal consecrations by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX). He said the two consecrating bishops and the four newly consecrated bishops had removed themselves from ecclesial communion and unity with the Pope: “This is sad, painful, and calls us to prayer and penance.” He urged Catholics to pray the Rosary for the unity of the Church on the Feast of Saint Sunniva, July 8. Monsignor Hansen repeated Cardinal Tucho Fernández’s explanation that the consecrations were a schismatic act and that the priests “can no longer validly grant absolution in the sacrament of confession.” He also urged Catholics to refrain from attending FSSPX Masses and other activities. Addressing FSSPX faithful directly, he wrote: “I understand that these are difficult and distressing days for you. You may find yourselves pulled in different directions, and perhaps stand bewildered before all that has now come to pass.” He …Hafa
Priest from excommunicated sect says future pope will reverse Vatican move This whole excommunication things is appearing more and more to be one huge joke, I know no one taking this matter seriously. Where is Pope St Pius X when you need him?
Did the 12 Apostles have to put up with this Vatican bureaucracy tit a tat? No. Why? Because Christ our Savior was their be all and end all. I doubt there are 4 priests today who could believe and declare Jesus Christ as their be all and end. They are too fretted with their standing and how they appear to others instead of Christ. It is sickening.
Seriously. Leo found time to meet with the Chinese Communists who picked their own bishops. He met with James Martin. He met with decorators for the apostolic palace. But couldn’t find time to meet with the SSPX. That is a fact JCS 77 (@musicthinker13) on X
A fire broke out at the base of the 676-year-old Gothic Basilica of Saint Michael in Bordeaux’s historic Saint-Michel quarter. The blaze started in makeshift tents used by homeless migrants on the church grounds.
Unlocking Catholic Social Teaching: Dr. Martinez Introduces the Ave Maria Economics Course "God did not call us from the eyebrows down—He wants us to use our brains." Dr. Gabriel Martinez joins us to shatter the myth of the 'divided life' in business and economics. Every financial, corporate, or political decision we make isn't just a technical choice—it's a deeply human, moral decision. Dr. Gabriel Martinez, economics professor at Ave Maria University, steps into the living room to introduce a groundbreaking, completely free online resource: the Ave Maria Economics Course, hosted by The Pursuit of Wisdom. Condensing three full semesters of dense academic material into seven clear, highly accessible lectures, Dr. Martinez bridges the gap between modern market principles and the foundational pillars of Catholic Social Teaching. He unpacks why popular political ideologies often distort Church teaching by overemphasizing one truth (like human dignity or solidarity) while completely abandoning …Hafa

White House officials have dismissed the movement’s complaints as “blown out of proportion,” arguing that pro-life voters will continue to support Republicans as the only viable alternative.31 Total abortion numbers have actually increased since the fall of Roe, a fact that underscores the movement’s frustration with the administration’s approach.31
@Luke Nutley As a sede you focus on his fake marriages? He is a prot. They are not recognized in the eyes of GOD! Nor with Real Catholics. Some Catholics say, they are valid because he was married in a Catholic Church. Some Catholics say that they weren't because he was married in a novus ordo mess. Some Catholics who believe they weren't valid suddenly recognizes his marriage as valid in a novus ordo. When before they were totally against it. Now all of a sudden it is valid. Do I have to leave you a list of his crimes? I thought I already did many times before. As well as others on gtv. Focus on them. Not his fake marriages. And many presidents who were married also cheated on their wives. trump and melania were made for each other. Both morally bankrupt, sick and downright evil people. I always wonder if melania had abortions and if so, how many. The way she demands and fights for it you have to wonder about it.
Amazing how the MSM hid the true nature of this man for years. Took over the patriot movement and republican party for us to find out he was to become Cyrus the king of Persia perverts.
