Plus, ICE’s leadership chaos, the fallout from Pete Hegseth’s tumultuous tenure at the Pentagon, and the growing influence of his wife, Jennifer, who has earned some very revealing nicknames inside the department. Leo XIV accepts a green glass “Sphere of Humanity”. On 2 September, during his General Audience at the Vatican, Leo XIV received the “Sphere of Humanity” from the U.S.-based Saint Peter for Humanity foundation. Hand-blown by Venini in Murano, the large green glass sphere symbolizes humanity as unique, fragile and irreplaceable and contains four handwritten passages from the encyclical “Magnifica Humanitas.” The gift makes its case for human craftsmanship in the age of AI — perhaps not as intended. #newsApklrbhqar

FBI targeted traditional minded priests and laity. (Here) In July 5 FBI employees were fired over the illegal surveillance. NOW, to be totally honest, despite shocking what they did, me in particular, I was happy the tried, not because I knew there wasn’t anything there, BUT i was happy because whosoever did the infiltration was going to converted once they saw the truth and beauty of tradition.
Saint Michael Novena - September 20 - 28 Saint Michael the Archangel, loyal champion of God and His Catholic people, I turn to thee with confidence and seek thy powerful intercession. For the love of God, Who hast made thee so glorious in grace and power, and for the love of the Mother of Jesus, the Queen of the Angels, be pleased to hear my prayer. Thou knowest the value of my soul in the eyes of God. May no stain of evil ever disfigure its beauty. Help me to conquer the evil spirit who tempts me. I desire to imitate thy loyalty to God and Holy Mother Church and thy great love for God and men. And since thou art God’s messenger for the care of His people, I entrust to thee this special request: here mention your request. Saint Michael, since thou art, by the will of the Creator, the powerful intercessor of Christians, I have great confidence in thy prayers. I earnestly trust that if it is God’s holy will, my petition will be granted. Pray for me, Saint Michael, and also for those I …अधिक

Franciscan Father Ibrahim Faltas reflects on the tragedy in Gaza after a building previously damaged by an Israeli missile strike collapsed shortly after midnight on September 16. At least 21 people died. He focuses in 'L’Osservatore Romano' on a mother and child found dead in an embrace. Fr Faltas adds that "about 100 people remain beneath the massive piles of debris; more than 20 have already been pulled out, and over half of them are children."

Leo XIV has not responded to an audience request for the Roman rite pilgrimage to Rome. The organisers of the pilgrimage “to the See of Peter” in late October requested a papal audience nine months ago, reports Edward Pentin on his Substack-Account. The request was made in a letter signed by two lay members of the organisation. It was personally delivered by Bishop Athanasius Schneider when he met Leo XIV last December. In the same letter, the organisers asked for permission to celebrate a Pontifical Mass at the Altar of the Chair in St Peter’s Basilica, as had happened several times in the past. After repeated pleas for a response, the Secretariat of State on 7 August declined permission for the Mass in St Peter’s Basilica. No reason was given for the decision. The Mass will instead be held at the Basilica of St Mary Major on 24 October. Bishop Athanasius Schneider will be the celebrant. Picture: summorum-pontificum.org, #newsWdcyeqmhus
After a long day of plowing the fields, an ox returned to the barn and lay down to rest. A cat was sitting nearby, and the ox said: “I’m exhausted today. Tomorrow, I just want to rest.” The cat later went to the dog and said: “The owner is pushing the ox too hard. He’s so worn out that he doesn’t want to work anymore.” The dog saw the sheep and told her: “The ox may quit working tomorrow because he’s completely exhausted.” The sheep passed the story on to the pig: “Starting tomorrow, the ox refuses to work. His job is too hard, and the owner even beats him with a whip.” That evening, while the owner’s servant was feeding the pig, the pig said: “The ox is planning to quit tomorrow and leave. Other owners treat their animals much better. They don’t beat them or starve them.” The servant immediately went to the owner and reported: “The ox is planning a rebellion. He may even convince the other animals to turn against you.” When the owner heard this, he decided to get rid of the ox before …अधिक

19.09.2006 THE VATICAN NOTE ON NOSTRA AETATE INTERPRETS VATICAN COUNCIL II IRRATIONALLY AND NOT RATIONALLY AS DO THE SSPX AND SEDEVACANTISTS The Vatican’s Note on Nostra Aetate interprets Vatican Council II irrationally and not rationally. The Society of St. Pius X and the sedevacantists do the same. With Vatican Council II rational, we begin with Ad Gentes 7 which says all need faith and baptism for salvation. We then observe that hypothetical and invisible cases mentioned in Nostra Aetate are not objective exceptions for AG 7 or the Catechism of the Catholic Church (845, 846, and 1257). So Vatican Council II is saying that outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation. This is the pre and post Vatican Council II teaching. The Council and Catechism are Magisterial and Apostolic even, if the popos cited in this document are irrational, dishonest and political on this issue. –Lionel Andrades Note. A Journey of Hope. A bomb exploded outside the Greek Orthodox cathedral in Hama, Syria. The videos from the scene show the aftermath inside and outside St George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Hama after a bomb exploded on 13 September, on the eve of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. The blast shattered windows and damaged the church and nearby cars, but no one was killed or injured. Syrian authorities opened an investigation. No group has claimed responsibility.
Last Sunday, there was another bomb attack on a church in Syria. This time, however, no one was killed or injured. Security camera footage shows a masked man placing the bomb underneath a car parked directly in front of the Greek Orthodox St. George’s Cathedral in Hama. The bomb exploded later that evening. September 14 (the day after the attack) is traditionally celebrated in the Greek Orthodox Church as the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross. There was no church service taking place in the cathedral at the time, which likely saved many lives. However, the church was damaged in the attack, and many windows were shattered by the explosion. Children were playing in the church courtyard nearby, but they too were unharmed. Nevertheless, the shock runs deep. Christians see the attack as a clear signal directed against them. Since the attack on St. Elias Church in Damascus last year, in which 22 Christians were killed, there have been repeated attacks and threats against Syria’s shrinking …अधिक
Prepare Your Soul Before Trials Intensify The world’s current state, marked by unprecedented events, false prophets, and declining morality, is seen as a fulfillment of biblical prophecy. The church’s focus on social issues over the salvation of souls has led to a lack of understanding and reverence for the Eucharist among Catholics, causing many to seek truth elsewhere, often being misled by false teachings and a selfish society. As the world worsens, people must choose between living for heaven or hell. This is not the end, but a prefiguration of what’s to come. We are urged to reject lies, maintain charity, and prioritize our relationship with Jesus. Doing so can bring peace amidst chaos and unite us with the Lord. Fr.
