Austrian Diocese Sponsors Homosexual March: On July 4, the first "Pride" demonstration took place in Villach (population: about 66,000), Austria. Among the sponsors, the Diocese of Gurk-Klagenfurt is listed in the lower right corner. During the march, some participants wore dog masks, one participant carried a communist flag, and a sign read: "Jesus had two dads – why can't we?"

Vatican Newspaper Denies Devil: Biblical scholar and feminist Marinella Perroni, 78, wrote for the July issue of L'Osservatore Romano's monthly supplement Donne Chiesa Mondo. She claims that "in the Genesis account there is no devil"; rather, "the serpent is simply the most cunning animal in the eyes of the desert nomads." She argues
- that belief in evil spirits entered Jewish theology only at a relatively late stage through contact with other ancient religions,
- that the devil as a distinct figure appears only in the late and strongly Hellenized Book of Wisdom, and
- that St. Paul and the First Letter to Timothy linked "the serpent, the woman, and the fruit" to "the devil, women, and sin," thereby reinforcing a patriarchal understanding of sexual difference.

Mary’s Seven Joys - July 5
According to Pelbartus Ladislaus of Temesvár, St. Thomas, while he was reciting his daily 'Hail Mary's in memory of the principal joys of Mary, was "favored with an apparition of the Queen of Heaven." She encouraged him to add seven more 'Hail Mary's in honor of "the seven signal joys she possesses in heaven, and to instill the same devotion into the minds of others."[5]
This devotion of the Seven Joys of Our Blessed Lady in Heaven recounts the glories Mary was honored with in heaven after her dormition.
Seven Joys of the Virgin - Wikipedia
The Seven Joys were frequently depicted in medieval devotional literature and art. The seven joys are usually listed as:
The Annunciation
The Nativity of Jesus
The Adoration of the Magi
The Resurrection of Christ
The Ascension of Christ to Heaven
The Pentecost or Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and Mary
The Coronation of the Virgin in Heaven

The 7 Joys of Mary.
HolyFamilyAcademy Seven is a mystical number. Our Lady’s Sorrows are seven and are celebrated twice during the year — on the Friday before Good Friday and on September 15. Our Lady’s joys are also seven and are celebrated within the octave of the feast of her Immaculate Heart. The Seven Joys of Our Lady are: (1) The Annunciation; (2) the Visitation; (3) the Birth of Our Lord; (4) the Adoration of Jesus by the Magi; (5) the Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple; (6) the Resurrection of Our Lord; (7) the Assumption of Mary in body and in soul into Heaven. The feast of The Seven Joys of Our Lady is a very special feast of the Franciscan Order and they recite in its honor the Franciscan Crown, which consists of a seven-decade rosary — seven Our Fathers and seventy Hail Marys, to which are added two Hail Marys because Our Lady was seventy-two when she died and was assumed into Heaven.

Oslo Bishop Responds to FSSPX Consecrations: "I Will Expand the Roman Rite in the Diocese"

Bishop Fredrik Hansen of Oslo, Norway, issued a July 3 statement following the episcopal consecrations by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX).
He said the two consecrating bishops and the four newly consecrated bishops had removed themselves from ecclesial communion and unity with the Pope: “This is sad, painful, and calls us to prayer and penance.” He urged Catholics to pray the Rosary for the unity of the Church on the Feast of Saint Sunniva, July 8.
Monsignor Hansen repeated Cardinal Tucho Fernández’s explanation that the consecrations were a schismatic act and that the priests “can no longer validly grant absolution in the sacrament of confession.”
He also urged Catholics to refrain from attending FSSPX Masses and other activities.
Addressing FSSPX faithful directly, he wrote: “I understand that these are difficult and distressing days for you. You may find yourselves pulled in different directions, and perhaps stand bewildered before all that has now come to pass.”

Where is Pope St Pius X when you need him?

Luke Nutley

Did the 12 Apostles have to put up with this Vatican bureaucracy tit a tat? No. Why? Because Christ our Savior was their be all and end all. I doubt there are 4 priests today who could believe and declare Jesus Christ as their be all and end. They are too fretted with their standing and how they appear to others instead of Christ.
It is sickening.

Catholic Infallible Dogma
One God, One Faith, One Spiritual Authority
Pope Boniface VIII - 1302
Bull of Pope Boniface VIII promulgated November 18, 1302
Urged by faith, we are obliged to believe and to maintain that the Church is one, holy, catholic, and also apostolic. We believe in her firmly and we confess with simplicity that outside of her there is neither salvation nor the remission of sins, as the Spouse in the Canticles [Sgs 6:8] proclaims: ‘One is my dove, my perfect one. She is the only one, the chosen of her who bore her,‘ and she represents one sole mystical body whose Head is Christ and the head of Christ is God [1 Cor 11:3]. In her then is one Lord, one faith, one baptism [Eph 4:5]. There had been at the time of the deluge only one ark of Noah, prefiguring the one Church, which ark, having been finished to a single cubit, had only one pilot and guide, i.e., Noah, and we read that, outside of this ark, all that subsisted on the earth was destroyed.
We venerate …

By the way, @brhenry , an act of mere disobedience (not schism) compelled by moral conscience and duty, and the spiritual needs of 700,000 faithful Catholics in their care, while begging for the assistance and collaboration of the Holy See -- which was refused to their sincere pleas -- does not constitute a failure to be subject to the Roman Pontiff. Stop being so simplistic and publicizing it to boot.

This doesn't bode well for the current pontiff and hierarchy who have dissented from earlier binding teachings of the pre-Conciliar Popes, refusing to be subject to them. Oh well....

[EN/DE] 🚨 SHOCKING CLASH: Donald Trump CALLS POPE LEO XIV “AN INSULT TO JESUS” — THE POPE’S RESPONSE STUNS THE WORLD
Donald Trump believed he could score easy political points by calling Pope Leo XIV “an insult to Jesus,” after the spiritual leader once again spoke out in defense of peace, compassion, and human dignity. However, he was challenging a voice rooted not in politics, but in moral authority.

Standing before a solemn gathering at the Vatican, Pope Leo XIV did not respond with anger. Instead, he delivered a powerful and deeply moving message grounded in faith, responsibility, and truth.
“The President of the United States has said that I insult Jesus,” Pope Leo XIV began, his voice calm yet firm. “But let us reflect honestly — what truly insults the teachings of Christ?”
Then, with quiet intensity, he answered:
“You want to know what truly insults Jesus? It is when we turn away from those who suffer, when we close …Mer

Fight for Release of Newt Lee on Habeas Corpus Resumed and Hearing Will Be Given Saturday Morning
That the murderer of Mary Phagan can never be identified by finger prints on the pay envelope found in the factory, and the "re-setting" of Newt Lee's habeas corpus for 10 o'clock. Saturday morning, were two important developments of the sensational murder mystery Thursday.

'Restitution for Sins of Speech
Every sin requires restitution. Sins against a person’s reputation are no exception.
If someone has been harmed by detraction or calumny, justice demands that the harm be repaired as far as possible. This may involve correcting false statements, restoring a person’s good name, or at least refraining from further harm.
This requirement underscores the seriousness of sins of speech. Words, once spoken, cannot easily be undone. We should all note that it is particularly difficult to offer proper satisfaction for sins of the tongue in this world. This is one of the factors which makes them such awful sins.
Once, a woman confessed the sin of detraction to St. Philip Neri. She had said a terrible untruth about a neighbor. St. Philip gave her a unique penance. He said, “Take a feathered pillow to the top of the hill outside the town and rip it open; then come back to the confessional.” The lady did as instructed. When she returned, thinking she would receive …Mer

Catholic Ethics of Speech On the Sins of Gossip, Detraction, and the Proper Use of the Tongue | The Fatima Center

The Moral Weight of Words Among the many sins that imperil the soul, those committed by speech are often the most overlooked. Yet Sacred Scripture repeatedly warns of their gravity. Our Lord Himself declares: “But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall render an account for it in the day of judgment” (Matthew 12:36). The tongue, though small, holds immense power. St. James teaches: “The tongue is indeed a little member, and boasteth great things… the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity” (James 3:5-6). In an age of constant communication – through conversation, text, and social media – the need to understand Catholic ethics of speech has never been greater. Words can edify or destroy, sanctify or scandalize. They can save souls or contribute to their ruin. The Virtue of Truth and Charity Speech is governed principally by two virtues: truth and charity. The virtue of truth requires that we speak honestly, neither deceiving others nor distorting reality. …

Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew 9,18-26.
While Jesus was speaking, an official came forward, knelt down before him, and said, "My daughter has just died. But come, lay your hand on her, and she will live."
Jesus rose and followed him, and so did his disciples.
A woman suffering hemorrhages for twelve years came up behind him and touched the tassel on his cloak.
She said to herself, "If only I can touch his cloak, I shall be cured."
Jesus turned around and saw her, and said, "Courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you." And from that hour the woman was cured.
When Jesus arrived at the official's house and saw the flute players and the crowd who were making a commotion,
he said, "Go away! The girl is not dead but sleeping." And they ridiculed him.
When the crowd was put out, he came and took her by the hand, and the little girl arose.
And news of this spread throughout all that land.

Burke speaks out on the consistory and the FSSPX: «The current situation does not constitute a state of necessity»

EXCLUSIVE: Cardinal Burke on the Consistory and SSPX consecrations

VATICAN CITY (PerMariam) — Cardinal Raymond Burke has given his assessment of the recent Extraordinary Consistory along with the upcoming episcopal consecrations of the Society of Saint Pius X, noting some remaining concerns about the consistory format, while lamenting the planed consecrations. Speaking with Per Mariam following the recent consistory, Cdl. Burke offered a summary of the event which drew just under 180 cardinals to Rome for the second such meeting of Leo XIV’s pontificate. As many have similarly done, Burke welcomed the return of consistory’s to the Vatican’s regular life, since it offers a chance to “discuss important questions with regard to the Church.” But he also raised his concerns about the small table “synodal” group method which has largely replaced the traditional open discussion. As for synodality itself, on which the cardinals were briefed during Saturday’s meeting, the American prelate said that it “remains unresolved.” “There really needs to be a critical …
