Notre Dame Priest Abused Students for 17 Years: An investigation of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, found Holy Cross priest Father Thomas King, a dorm rector and history professor, homosexually abused male students over 17 years during the 1980s and 1990s. He used a "weighing scheme" to see students naked and coerced others with threats of bad recommendations. Despite repeated reports, officials were slow to act, and King wasn't removed from ministry until 2020. Notre Dame's president apologized to victims upon the report's release in May 2026. King himself has remained silent.
Notre Dame Rector Sexually Abused Students Over 17 Years
17 years of abuse, destroying the body and souls of those entrusted to him and nobody a the University knew anything, I'll guess that many people knew but kept their mouths shut. Some out of fear and others because they were abusing students themselves. What is worse is that in many areas of the Church today, this still goes on.
What do you mean “he has remained silent”? Who’s letting him “remain silent”? Has he been laicized or at least put on Trial? Why is he getting away with this? God help us.
– Folha de S. Paulo, July 1, 1980 – by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira Twelve intense days lie ahead. Depending on how events unfold, they will likely be some of the most important in our history. They will definitely be very intense for His Holiness John Paul II, who will spend them in Brazil, and also for us, who have the honor of hosting him. I say “also for us” because the visit of a head of state usually produces nothing more than the customary demonstrations and festivities that momentarily distract the people who receive him. A pope’s visit, however, reaches both deeper and higher. The population sees in him the bearer of the Church’s supreme magisterium, the one to whom they are ordinarily bound to conform their thinking. Thus, if the Pontiff so wishes, a single address on a given subject can decisively shape what more than ninety percent of Brazilians think, desire, or undertake in that matter. Now, I’ve heard that, according to a daily newspaper in one of our major cities, John …Okunengi

Yes, you can't help the people the US is starving on purpose. That's the whole idea. To make them weak, to destroy their lives and then invade them and bomb them as he has tried to destroy Iran. Once again, I am happy to see him humiliated over and over and over again. He went home humiliated by China as well. After that, once he came back, first thing he did was threaten the "IRANIAN" people with a nuke! Third time!
Spain Erects Massive Cross for Papal Visit: A massive cross has been installed in Madrid’s Plaza de Lima ahead of Pope Leo XIV’s youth vigil on June 6, where thousands of young Catholics will gather near the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.
A few days before Pope Leo XIV's arrival in Spain, a massive cross has been installed in the heart of Madrid for the grand youth vigil on June 6.
Worse than Germany: On May 25, Catholic Bishop Peter Collins of East Anglia, England, bowed during the Anglican National Pilgrimage in Walsingham to receive a blessing from the Anglican layman Luke Irvine-Capel, who holds the title and wears the vestments of the “Bishop of Richborough.”
At the Anglican National Pilgrimage at Walsingham on Monday 25 May, Catholic Bishop Peter Collins of East Anglia was photographed bowing to receive a blessing from the Rt Revd Luke Irvine-Capel, Anglican Bishop of Richborough. His own diocesan diary confirms he attended the Anglican shrine pilgrimage from 11:30am — a scheduled official engagement.
@ yuca2111... you block yourself off which is a sign of immaturity but superiority at the same time. Act like a grown up if you want to talk cause your posts are useless lies.
Sad but true, Eucharist in the hand is a reality in our Church, to me is a sin, so we need to tell others about it, not a grave sin thought, all of us will pay dearly in purgatory for taking it in the hand, this practice has produced such spiritual numbness it to catholics, falling in the trap of believing it is a symbol instead of the Holy Flesh and Blood of our Lord.
On 28 May, Leo XIV received Mayor Brandon Johnson, the Democrat mayor of Chicago. He is a far-left Protestant and a militant activist for abortion and homosexuality. Johnson described meeting the Pope as "one of the most awe-inspiring and humbling experiences of my life". The photograph shows the Chicago delegation surrounding Pope Leo XIV and 'praying' together. Johnson described the scene as a "multi-faith prayer". According to Johnson, they discussed illegal immigration, the war in Iran, and reparations for slavery. Notably absent from the conversation was any mention of abortion or gender ideology. Johnson said that Leo XIV had asked him about the deportation of illegal immigrants and encouraged him to continue protecting them. Bloody background: Johnson is known for pledging to provide free abortion pills, vowing to prosecute pro-life sidewalk counsellors and that he has proclaimed Chicago "a sanctuary" for abortion. Altar no longer an altar but a table: During a recent interview on the Philippines, Bishop Athanasius Schneider noted that since Vatican II, the Church has put man at the center of the liturgy and Christ at the corner. "This is so anthropocentric, and the manner of celebrating Holy Mass facing the people is like a closed circle … the altar is no longer an altar. It is a table, and the center is the priest, not Christ."
Schneider on May 20 on the Philippines: "The altar is no more altar. It is a table."
Thank you, Lord, for Bishop Schneider --he continues to take the lead in helping all see the consequences of the novus ordo liturgy and its destruction of the Catholic Faith.
Worse than Germany: On May 21, Archbishop Gherardo Gambelli of Florence presided over a prayer vigil against “homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia”. 300 participants, including clergy, gathered. The event took place in the parish of Beata Vergine Maria delle Grazie all'Isolotto in Florence, a church located in the Isolotto district. This area is historically associated with ecclesiastical rebellion in the 1960s. During the vigil, Archbishop Gambelli cited Acts 10:34-35: "God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him." He presented the passage as a reflection on the dignity of every person and the need to reject prejudice and hatred. The event featured personal testimonies from unrepentant homosexuals. One speaker, Carlo, a 53-year-old homosexual from Florence, whined about experiences of bullying during his youth. He publicly confessed to sinning stubbornly with a man since twenty years but called this accomplice "a precious …Okunengi
Instead of seeking the conversion of those who have fallen into the vice of homosexuality, these apostate priests—homosexual activists—rebel against God and seek the perdition of all those souls.
US Archbishop Defies Traditionis Custodes: Yesterday morning, Archbishop Thomas Wenski of Miami, USA, ordained 12 new priests for the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP) in the Cathedral in Omaha, Nebraska. Traditionis Custodes prohibits both the use of the Pontificale Romanum and the use of parish churches without Vatican approval. Archbishop Wenski is well known for his love of motorcycles and his annual Archbishop's Motorcycle Ride.
Priestly ordinations for FSSP seminarians took place yesterday morning at St. Cecilia Cathedral in Omaha, Nebraska, and were celebrated by His Excellency Bishop Thomas Wenski of the Archdiocese of Miami.
This violation of Traditionis Custodes was allowed in order to prove to the world that there is no “emergency” requiring the consecration of Bishops by the FSSPX, as they allege.
The headline reads...Bishop "defies." Anytime a Bishop does something really Catholic these days it is considered defying Church authority. I am grateful this Bishop is taking seriously his divine commission to advance the Faith.
Trump's name must come off of the Kennedy Center, judge rules. It's a shame he also tore up Jaqueline Kennedy's rose garden. And renaming everything after himself he can think of. Trump's name must come off of the Kennedy … We can't forget this either.
