Pope Leo XIV continues Francis’ path towards homosexuals, Fr. Bryan Massingale SJ, a self-described homosexual and theology professor at Jesuit-run Fordham University in New York City, told Ny1.com on June 25: “There was a fear after Francis died that a future pope would come in and would undo the welcoming overtures and advances that had taken place under Francis' papacy.” However: “One of the first things Pope Leo did was he said, ‘No, I have no intention of going backwards when it comes to the LGBTQ community,” the Jesuit added.
Fr. Bryan Massingale SJ, openly homosexual and theology professor at Fordham University, said he is encouraged that Pope Leo XIV appears committed to continuing the more welcoming approach toward LGBTQ people that he associates with Pope Francis.
Robin Monotti @robinmonotti NASA CONFIRMS THE SUN IS THE DRIVER OF TEMPERATURE ON EARTH “The thermosphere always cools off during Solar Minimum–and it warms up again during Solar Maximum,” explains Martin Mlynczak of NASA’s Langley Research Center. “It’s one of the most important ways the solar cycle affects our planet.” Mlynczak and colleagues recently introduced the “Thermosphere Climate Index” (TCI)–a number expressed in Watts that tells how much heat nitrogen oxide (NO) molecules in the thermosphere are dumping into space. During Solar Maximum, TCI is high (“Hot”); during Solar Minimum, it is low (“Cold”).
In the historic centre of Turin, Italy, stands the Church of San Francesco d'Assisi. In the sixteenth century, the church temporarily safeguarded the Shroud of Turin, after its transfer from Chambéry. Is is an active church in the Archdiocese of Turin, with regular Masses and the Blessed Sacrament reserved. Since spring 2020, however, the church has also served as the regular place of worship for the Evangelical Lutheran Community of Turin. The Lutheran congregation is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Italy (CELI) and has administrative offices elsewhere in the city, but no church of its own. This arrangement is permanent. During the installation of Pastor Tobias Brendel in September 2022, which took place in the Catholic church, a Catholic deacon symbolically presented the new pastor with a set of keys. The Lutheran community said that this recognised the relationship of trust that had developed since the shared use of the church began in 2020. This appears to have been …تېخىمۇ كۆپ
Rev. Alfons Gea, a Catalan priest and cousin of Cardinal Cristóbal López Romero, has appeared to confirm the sexual nature of allegations against the 74-year-old Archbishop of Rabat, Morocco. Cardinal López, a Spanish-born Salesian, is a prominent supporter of Pope Francis’s agenda, was appointed Archbishop of Rabat in 2017 and a cardinal in 2019. On Monday, he announced that he would temporarily withdraw from public celebrations and pastoral ministry while the Vatican conducts a preliminary investigation into allegations involving at least five adult women. He has admitted to “inappropriate behaviour” but denies committing sexual assault, violence, or harassment. ElPaís.com has described the allegations as sexual abuse, rather than merely inappropriate hugs or gestures. Writing for Exaudi.org, Rev. Gea said his cousin had already begun privately accepting the possible consequences: “The image of a papabile, a figure who enjoyed such widespread affection, has come crashing down." And: …تېخىمۇ كۆپ
Pagliarani Blocked Fellay's 2018 Deal: "Rome Has to Acknowledge Its Errors" - from Gloria TV Lionel : The General Chapter of the SSPX when Bishop Fellay was the Superior General of the SSPX in his Statement affirmed Feeneyite extra ecclesiam nulla salus, i.e EENS with no known exceptions. It was rejected by the Vatican. This was the end of dialogue at that time. _______________________________ The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) rejected a Doctrinal Declaration proposed by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF), which would have been followed by the granting of a canonical status, Monsignor Guido Pozzo told LaNuovaBq.it on July 7. Lionel: The Vatican affirms Vatican Council II with a break; a schism with the Council of Florence 1442 on the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS), with no known exceptions. For the Vatican, theoretical possibilities are practical exceptions for EENS. This is irrational and not part of the deposit of the faith. It is political. …تېخىمۇ كۆپ

"Even if man does do some things that please me, yet he provokes me in more ways, since man's will and my will are not in harmony. Pharaoh also acted in this way when, although he knew my power by means of sure signs, nevertheless he set his mind against me and continued on in his wickedness. Therefore, he experienced my justice..."
[Saint Bridget of Sweden – XIV Century AD; born: Uppland, Sweden/died: Rome, Papal States; Patron Saint of Europe, Widow, Mystic, Spiritual Writer] Fifth question. ”Why are some people exceedingly hardened, while others enjoy wonderful consolation?” Answer to the fifth question. ”As to why some people are hardened, I answer: Pharaoh's hardness of heart was his own fault, not mine, because he did not want to conform himself to my divine will. Hardness of heart is nothing other than the withdrawal of my divine grace, which is withdrawn when people do not give me, their God, their free possession, namely, their will. You can understand this by means of a parable. There was a man who owned two fields, one of which lay fallow, while the other bore fruit at certain times. A friend of his said to him: 'I wonder why, although you are wise and rich, you do not take more care to cultivate your fields or why you do not give them to others to cultivate.' The man answered: 'One of the fields, no …تېخىمۇ كۆپ
First Canadian Town Grants Trees a 'Right to Life': On 9 June, the town of Terrasse-Vaudreuil in Quebec, home to around 2,000 people, became the first place in Canada to adopt a resolution enshrining the 'rights' of trees. The resolution includes rights such as the right to life, natural growth, integrity and regeneration. Mayor Michel Bourdeau said the initiative was inspired by filmmaker André Desrochers and his film 'Des arbres et des arts'. Meanwhile, around 30,000 human beings are aborted in Quebec each year, and more than 100,000 in Canada as a whole. Since its legalisation in 2016, more than 100,000 Canadians have died through euthanasia (MAID).
“We’re going to give a license to you to make Patriots. That’s pretty cool. This way, you can’t complain that we’re not giving them enough,” Trump told Zelensky during a meeting in Ankara on Wednesday. More proof trump and his administration is on the side of Ukraine who glorifies nazism. Killing his own people. Civilians as well as soldiers. And US and NATO helping him. As they finally admitted at the summit. Admitting their talks were worthless and to lead Putin and Russia on. We are not intermediators. We are on the side of Ukraine! Sooner or later all truth shall be revealed. As so much already has been. The rest will also be revealed.
On June 26, the Archdiocese of Chicago, ruined by Cardinal Blase Cupich, dedicated a memorial for suiciders. The memorial, titled "At Peace," is located at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. According to the Archdiocese, it is the first memorial established by a Catholic archdiocese in the United States specifically for suiciders. The Vicar General, auxiliary Bishop Lawrence Sullivan, said in a June 24 statement that the memorial was created to "honor the lives lost to suicide". And: "Historically, the Catholic Church denied Catholic funerals in churches and burials in consecrated ground for individuals who died by suicide. The Church has undergone a significant transformation in its understanding of suicide and mental illness and now recognizes that many who die by suicide suffer from mental illness and unbearable pain. The Church now embraces these individuals and affirms that they are with God, not condemned." #newsBdkpdqzsck
At a moment when Rome has demonstrated uncompromising resolve in disciplining the SSPX, it simultaneously promotes a bishop publicly associated with some of the most contentious elements of the German reform movement. Appointments are one of the principal ways a Pope governs. They are never merely administrative. They reveal priorities.
Today, Leo XIV appointed Monsignor Christian Würtz, 55, as Bishop of Eichstätt, Germany. Leo XIV again chose a canon lawyer. A native of Karlsruhe, he originally studied law at Heidelberg University before entering the seminary. He holds two doctorates - one in both civil and canon law (doctor iuris utriusque) and another in theology. He also served as rector of Freiburg's seminary. At 48, he was the youngest bishop in Germany when he was ordained auxiliary bishop of Freiburg in 2019. At 55, he now becomes the youngest diocesan bishop in Germany. Part of the "Rainbow" Faction Among Bishops In September 2022, Monsignor Würtz voted "yes" at the German Synodal Way for the controversial document on the Doctrinal Reassessment of Homosexuality. The document argued that homosexual orientation is "not self-chosen and ... cannot be changed," and that homosexual Catholics should be accepted without reservation. He also voted yes for the document "Dealing with Gender Diversity." It asked bishops …تېخىمۇ كۆپ
